The National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union [NEHAWU] in the Mpumalanga Province will march in Oshoek as part of the Free Amos Mbedzi Campaign.
The march seeks to highlight the atrocities suffered by the People of Swaziland at the hands of Mswati. There is no democracy in Swaziland, political parties are banned and public servants have been given a 0% increment whilst Mswati continues to spend unnecessarily and wastes money. The march is also meant to pledge solidarity with the people of Swaziland and to recommit ourselves in the struggle for their freedom.
Three memorandums of demands will be submitted to Mpumalanga provincial government, Swaziland Embassy and National Government or International Relations Department.
