NEHAWU and Cosatu in the Western Cape invite members of the media to a press conference tomorrow at 14:00 at the Nelson Mandela Gateway {V&A Waterfront} in Cape Town. The conference is being called in order to give accurate information to the public about the ongoing worker’s strike at the Robben Island Museum.
Over the weekend the CEO of the museum gave wrong information with the intent to mislead the public about the conduct of the striking workers and also threatened to take legal action against the union. NEHAWU and COSATU will be responding to the CEO and setting the record straight.
