NEHAWU Mourns The Passing of Comrade Sam Nujona

The National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union [NEHAWU] mourns the passing away of Comrade Sam Nujoma, father of independent Namibia and champion of the liberation struggle against colonialism.
NEHAWU sends revolutionary condolences to his family, his organisation - South West Africa People’s Organization [SWAPO], and the people of Namibia.
He has now joined Comrade Andimba Toivo Ja Toivo (co-founder of SWAPO) and many gallant liberation fighters, whom were in the trenches in the fight against the apartheid regime, colonialism for the liberation of the Southern African region.
Cde Nujoma was a revolutionary par excellence with unparalleled struggle credentials of not only his country but also contributed immensely in the liberation struggle of the African continent.
Indeed, the African continent has lost a towering figure of the struggle for a continent that is free from oppression, a continent with social justice, equality, human rights, peace, and prosperity without capitalist exploitation and subjugation.
Comrade Nujoma was an inspiration to all liberation forces in Southern Africa and the African continent. He was part of a generation of freedom fighters that devoted their life to the struggle of a free and Independent Africa from the bondage colonialism. His name will forever etched in the annals of history as a revolutionary par excellence.
As NEHAWU, we are confident that the current generation of revolutionaries in SWAPO will continue waging a relentless struggle in honour of Comrade Nujoma.
